Empire

Located between two large sand dunes of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore in the town of Empire, on the shores of Lake Michigan. Manning Memorial light was built in 1990 and is the 2nd newest lighthouse in Michigan. It is named after long time Empire resident, Robert H. Manning.
