Ice, Ice baby


February 13th, 19 degrees Fahrenheit. Now in the second week of February, we have finally had a few weeks of consistently cold weather here in southeast Michigan. Now the large lakes and rivers have frozen over, to the delight of ice-fisherman. Checkout pictures of Lake St. Clair and the St. Clair River.

Tugboat frozen in place for the season
Harsens Island ferry has cleared a path through the ice.
Lots of ice fisherman out on Lake St. Clair near Fair Haven, MI. Seen from docks at the restaurant, The Raft.
There were lots of snow mobiles, ATV and side-by-sides on the lake.
Fast forward 4 months and boats will replace those snow mobiles and ATVs at the docks.
